
On Monday, before the meeting with German Government’s Special Representative for the Countries of the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, PM Dimitar Kovacevski said he expected the constitutional changes to be supported by all MPs in Parliament, except Levica’s two parliamentarians.
Later that day, that is, at the meeting, Sarrazin confirmed the German Government’s strong support for the EU path of Skopje and reaffirmed the pledges and expectations of his country for North Macedonia to continue in that direction in an accelerated manner.
The upcoming decision to adopt the constitutional changes in front of North Macedonia, as it was highlighted, is a decision to be part of the EU, North Macedonia’s Government said in the press-release.
