As of Thursday, former Criminal Court President Vladimir Pancevski is behind bars. In Skopje Prison, he is serving the 2.5-year-prison sentence for abuse of official position. He received a document for the sentence to start on Thursday, but he tried to postpone that with an appeal. Judges from the same Court Pancevski headed rejected it. At around 2 pm, he reported to the institution himself. Pancevski is an isolation area according to COVID protocols, Filip Andov, Skopje Prison head, says. Pancevski was convicted in the frames of the ACCMIS case, that is, because he would manually allocate court cases instead of using the computer system.
