On Wednesday, former Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski didn’t appear at the trial over the TNT case, which concerns the demolition of the Cosmos complex in 2011. His lawyers presented a positive COVID test from Acibadem Sistina Hospital. If a hearing isn’t held over the case by the end of February, 90 days will have passed from one hearing to another, due to which the case would start from the beginning. The next hearing is scheduled for 8 February. Among the other defendants in the case are former Gazi Baba Mayor Toni Trajkovski and ex-PM Nikola Gruevski, who’s tried in absentia.
