Health Minister Venko Filipce announced on Sunday that the current measure for curfew between 10:00 p.m. and 05:00 a.m. shall remain into force for another two weeks starting with Monday. “Based on the current number of hospitalised patients and the daily statistics of new COVID-19 cases and deaths, we reached a decision that the current measures are sufficient for keeping the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic under control. The Infectious Diseases Committee will hold a meeting on Monday in order to discuss the current situation and determine if additional restrictive measures are necessary. These measures may include increase of the curfew period and reduction of the working hours for catering businesses like restaurants, cafés etc.,” Filipce said.
