Filipce: Possible Restrictions for Unvaccinated Citizens from September

Health Minister Venko Filipce said at a press conference on Tuesday that the government is not planning on introducing restrictive measures against further spreading of COVID-19, but added that it is possible for them to introduce measures against citizens refusing vaccination. “If we estimate that there is a great risk over the health of the population, we may introduce restrictions for citizens who have not received a COVID-19 jab from September or October. It is not okay for citizens who are vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 to be further endangered by fellow-citizens who for unknown reasons refuse to take a COVID-19 vaccine,” Filipce said.
