Passengers from “Wizz Air” planes from Milan and Venice at the Skopje and Ohrid airports will need to fill in a health locator card – which is another step toward preventing and registering coronavirus-infected patients arriving in the country. According to Health Minister, Venko Filipce the passengers will leave information on where they are staying and if a passenger shows symptoms after a certain number of days it will be easy to find the fellow passengers that sat several rows in front of and behind that passenger on the plane. The health locator cards will also be filled in by several Macedonian footballers playing in Italy who are due to arrive in Macedonia for the 26 March match between Macedonia and Kosovo. He adds that there have been no new patients being tested for coronavirus in the past 24 hours. Minister Filipce denies the accusations that VMRO-DPMNE has thrown his way for the past two days regarding illegally attained property, saying that it is nothing but fake news and empty accusations.
