The Finance Police Department has filed to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organised Crime and Corruption (BPPOOCC) criminal charges against former President of the State Electoral Commission (SEC) Oliver Derkovski and three members of the public procurements commission at SEC. According to the charges, the suspects have abused their official position in 2019, by conducting a public procurement for electricity, hygiene and other services without organisation of a tender, thus violating the regulations for transparent, fair and non-discriminatory procedure for public procurement. The contracts for these services have been concluded with three different companies, which allowed them to gain 8.6 million denars.
