On Thursday, First Deputy PM and Political System and Inter-Community Relations Minister Artan Grubi held a meeting with the new Austrian Ambassador, Martin Pammer.
They expressed assurances that the friendly relations between Skopje and Vienna would continue to be developed in the future, while Grubi expressed gratitude for Austria’s support for the reform processes related to the EU path.
When it comes to the constitutional changes issue and need to build societal consensus on EU integrations, Grubi’s Cabinet said, the First Deputy PM underlined the need for support from the opposition for the “technical” changes to the Constitution and general alignment on the EU path. The issue of interethnic relations and implementation of the Ohrid Framework agreement was discussed at the meeting as well.
