The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov met on Monday the Director-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson. Danielson congratulated Dimitrov on the adoption of the Prespa Agreement, accenting its importance for the stability of the Balkan region. Danielsson also welcomed the efforts made by Macedonia so far in the processes for implementation of reforms required by the EU for full-fledged membership. Dimitrov thanked Danielsson for EU’s pledges so far in the support of Macedonia and its EU integration, expressing hope that EU gives green light for membership negotiations with Macedonia in June 2019.
