FM Dimitrov: No parallels Between Bojkotiram and Colourful Revolution

Drawing parallels between the movement for boycotting the name referendum, Bojkotiram (I’m boycotting), and the Colourful Revolution is the same as putting an equals sign between courage and fear, between the active citizen who dared to start to see in the dark and the passive obedient citizens who are afraid to open their eyes when there is light, FM Nikola Dimitrov wrote on Facebook. “The Colourful Revolution is thirst for accountability, accountability in a situation of publicly exposed crime. When the institutions failed, the citizens took responsibility, demanding justice,” he said. As the FM added, Bojkotiram is a call for irresponsibility, for running away from responsibility, for having no voice about the own and Macedonia’s future, faced with a historic crossroads.
