The enlargement process and latest developments related to the last EU Summits was the central topic at this year’s meeting of Visegrad Group (V4) and Western Balkans (WB6) Foreign Ministers in Poznan, in the frames of the Polish Presidency of V4. In the presence of Miroslav Lajcak, EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues and Gordan Grlic Radman, Foreign Minister of Croatia, issues were raised about the future of the accession process with countries from the region as a two-way process that implies fulfilments from both sides, as well as the reflection of all these issues on the EU’s credibility and integrity both regionally and globally. Osmani thanked the Slovenian Presidency for its plans and priorities regarding the Western Balkans, but also for the Portuguese one’s efforts for a start of membership talks with Skopje and Tirana.
