At a press-conference on Monday, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani presented the Prespa Forum for Dialogue initiative. The platform is intended to protect, promote, and channel the benefits and importance of three deals: the Ohrid Framework Agreement, the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighbourliness, and Cooperation with Bulgaria, and the Prespa Agreement with Greece. According to Osmani, Prespa Forum for Dialogue and Initiative 8 will be platforms through which good-neighbourly relations will be deepened and regional cooperation will be advanced. The idea to launch the multidimensional project is a result of the acquiring of the political weight of the three deals and authentic know-how of Macedonia with regards to dialogue and cooperation, which opens both an opportunity and an obligation to open an intellectual and political debate.
