Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani will not comment on the Skopje-Sofia relations during the Bulgarian elections. “I will not comment on the relations with Bulgaria during the elections there because then all statements of ours become part of the political fight and I really wouldn’t want to affect that process. I will keep my comments for after 2 October,” he stated on Monday, asked to comment on the stands of Angel Dimitrov, who co-chairs the Bulgarian team in the frames of the History Commission, regarding Skopje’s alleged unreadiness for changes. Regarding the contested history textbook for seventh-graders, Osmani stated that it had already been withdrawn through a decision of the previous Minister of Education and Science due to the offensive content towards the other ethnic communities.
