Four Charged with Violence in Relation to Shkupi-Levski Incidents in Cair

On Friday, police officers from Skopje deprived of liberty four persons for violence against Levski supporters on Cvetan Dimov in the settlement of Cair. As it was said in the press-release, they left the route secured by police on their own. On 27 July, at around 6:30 pm, on Cvetan Dimov Street, while the Levski supporters were driving in Honda and Volkswagen Passat vehicles and waving supporter flags, there was a verbal argument. Afterwards, they left the vehicles and there was a physical confrontation. One Levski supporter, after he’d returned to the car, was injured with a sharp object while in motion. The four persons, aged 28-32, were held in a police station. On Saturday, the four were charged with violence, on the basis of Article 386 of the Criminal Code.
