Geer Hopes Diplomats’ Messages Will Be Taken into Consideration

According to the EU Delegation’s Head, Ambassador David Geer, there will not be a better deal or new offer from the EU. He hopes that the messages from diplomats that recently visited North Macedonia will be taken into consideration.

“We believe the place of this country is in the EU not because we are nice, but rather because we think we have common interest and that this is the best future for the country,” the EU Ambassador said in an interview with Sloboden Pecat on Friday.

Regarding the constitutional changes, Ambassador Geer stated that it was up to MPs to take responsibility and make a decision, adding that the matter was nonetheless a “sovereign decision” of the country.
