PM and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski will hold a leaders’ meeting in Parliament on Tuesday in order to try to find common ground over the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) law, which will solve also the fate of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO). Government sources have confirmed that the meeting will start at 8 pm and be held in a one-plus-four format. In an interview with Alfa TV on Saturday, Mickoski stated that he would raise the issue of early parliamentary elections, too. His party has confirmed that the PPO law is the main topic. It will be seen on the spot whether the issue of elections will be discussed, according to VMRO-DPMNE, which has added that the elections topic was a condition for the meeting to be held.
