DUI MP, Artan Grubi stated on Wednesday that the political parties have agreed on the Electoral Code changes, which does not foresee change of the election model. “Yesterday’s meeting was informal meeting of enthusiast. We remain with the formal composition which discusses changes in the Electoral Code which is within the Justice Ministry framework. This week we all met, political parties, non-government organizations and international organizations, and have already agreed upon draft text which will incorporate all OSCE/ODIHR recommendations from the last three electoral cycles of presidential, local elections and referendum and that draft does not encompass the electoral model,” stated Grubi. According to him, it’s absurd to discuss electoral model changes 5 months before early elections.
