In the last 24 hours, 317 new COVID-19 cases have been registered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. That figure is a record high. It was added that the same period had seen 1,990 new tests, 104 new cured patients, and four new deaths. The number of active cases in the country is 2,892. Among the new cases are Parking Lots of the Municipality of Centar Director Vasko Kicevski and a teacher from Skopje. As a result of the teacher’s positive test, 17 children are in self-isolation. Five other teachers, too, have COVID-19, but because they’re part of the online education process, their students will not be in self-isolation. Culture Minister Irena Stefoska, too, is in self-isolation because one of the members of her Cabinet has the coronavirus. As far as the measures concerning hospitality venues adopted by the Government on Sunday are concerned, representatives of night clubs and part of musicians staged a protest to voice their dissatisfaction. They said they’d been invited by PM Zoran Zaev to a meeting on Friday to discuss the situation.
