In the last 24 hours, 410 new COVID-19 cases have been registered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. It was added that the same period had seen 2,674 new tests, 290 new recovered patients, and 10 new deaths. The total number of COVID-diagnosed persons in our country since the beginning of the epidemic is 215,995, the number of recovered patients is 200,293, the number of deaths is 7,592, and the number of active cases is 8,110. Health Minister Venko Filipce, after the Government meeting, announced that general practitioners will receive bonuses if they succeed in convincing 70% or more of their patients to get vaccinated, having in mind that it is their responsibility to increase the number of immunisations. With that said, vaccination is not mandatory.
