In the last 24 hours, 119 new COVID-19 cases have been registered, the Health Ministry said on Monday. It was added that the same period had seen 2,324 new tests, 257 new recovered patients, and 6 new deaths. The total number of COVID-diagnosed persons in the country since the beginning of the epidemic is 223,330, the number of recovered patients is 210,732, the number of deaths is 7,907, and the number of active cases is 4,691. Health Minister Venko Filipce announced Monday that there have not been detected new cases of Omicron variant in the country, and believes the information on how much it has spread will be available in one week’s time. Filipce reiterated that there is no need for increased restrictive measures.
