The State Infectious Diseases Committee reported on Wednesday that at the moment the situation with respiratory diseases in the country, including COVID-19, is rather stable. The session of the Committee follows after the reports of great numbers of patients with respiratory diseases and conditions seeking medical assistance, majority of which are children. The Committee also recommended for the current anti-COVID measures, i.e. the obligation for wearing face masks in public transport, hospitals, pharmacies and retirement homes to remain into force, and called upon al citizens to respect them. From the Committee they also report that they will continue to follow the situation, and will recommend measures in case such necessity arises.
