Interior Minister Spasovski Comments on Several Topics

Answering journalists’ questions on Thursday, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski said the fines for PM Zoran Zaev, Health Minister Venko Filipce, and the Deputy PM for Fighting Corruption, Sustainable Development, and Human Resources, Ljupco Nikolovski, for not wearing a helmet had sent a message that the law applied to everyone. According to him, the different dates on the documents are not important, that is, what matters is that institutions do their job. When it comes to the project for passports and IDs containing the new name of the country, Spasovski expects it to start next year. As far as the COVID-19 situation is concerned, the Minister said the Government was discussing the issue of increasing fines for not wearing face masks.
