The Interior Ministry has denied the speculations that the person that waved the Greater Albania flag during Kosovan PM Albin Kurti’s visit to Tetovo is a police officer. Police are aware of how he looks.
The Interior Ministry has called on all citizens to contact police if they see the person or have information that could prove helpful in the investigation being carried out by the Tetovo Internal Affairs Sector in coordination with a public prosecutor.
According to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the “policy” to “create a Greater Albania” is a process that will continue and Kurti will not stop. “Albin Kurti will not stop here,” he has said. Regarding the Kosovan PM’s visit to Tetovo and Skopje, Vucic’s position is that the problem is not one flag of Greater Albania, but rather what Kurti talks about and the way in which it is announced.
Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic has said Pandora’s box had been opened, adding that the recognition of Kosovo by North Macedonia and Montenegro would backfire on the two countries. President Stevo Pendarovski’s Cabinet has declined to comment on Vucevic’s stands.
