Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski said on Tuesday that after the takeover of the cases from the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) and a potential adoption of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) law, it would be decided which prosecutors will act upon the cases, adding that the possibility of the people that had been the prosecutors so far acting upon them wasn’t ruled out. “The Public Prosecutor’s Office has been notified that public prosecutors from the SPO are authorised to submit the cases to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the RNM,” he stated, adding that activities to mutually agree on the technical details about the handover of cases, the moment and the order would follow. Once the cases arrive and they are allocated to prosecutor’s offices, the PPO’s actions will be in line with legal competences. Joveski hopes the process will be quick.
