PM Dimitar Kovacevski and US Ambassador Angela Aggeler visited on Friday the University Clinic for Gastroenterohepatology in Skopje, where several departments were recently reconstructed and modernised thanks to a donation by the US worth around 400,000 euros. “Over the past decade the US have provided around 14 million dollars for reconstruction and modernisation of healthcare facilities in our country. This is another confirmation that the US are our greatest friends and supporters ever since our country declared independence,” Kovacevski said, adding that the healthcare sector and its constant improving are among the top priorities of the government. US Ambassador Aggeler said that this donation is another example about how the US remain dedicated to help North Macedonia to build quality and trust within the institutions of the state.
