Sunday marked the 22 nd anniversary of the signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement (OFA).
PM Dimitar Kovacevski said it had brought peace and enabled continued development of societal cohesion and the European concept of unity in diversities. As he added, North Macedonia is today an example of a multi-ethnic democracy that practices European values.
DUI leader Ali Ahmeti called for unification and unity over European integration.
“Now that the country is a member of NATO, the historic chance to secure the future shouldn’t be missed,” he noted, calling on all MPs to vote in favour of the constitutional changes.
