Kovacevski: Initiative for Constitutional Changes Won’t Be Debated on Tuesday

PM Dimitar Kovacevski said that the initiative for constitutional changes will not be
debated by the government at the session scheduled for Tuesday. On Monday, Justice
Minister Krenar Lloga said that the initiative is expected to be adopted by the government
during the Tuesday session. “The initiative for constitutional changes will be included in
the daily agenda at some of the following sessions once the administrative services in the
government finish all necessary procedures,” Kovacevski said. He also denied the claims
of VMRO-DPMNE that the government is pressuring MPs under pressure to support the
constitutional changes. “There never was such a thing and there never will be. Last year
when we adopted the French proposal, all 68 MPs of the ruling majority voted in
accordance with their free will and visions for the secure and prosperous future of the
state,” Kovacevski added.
