Kovacevski: Meetings Such as One in Tirana Welcome

According to PM Dimitar Kovacevski, meetings such as the one the leaders of DUI, DPA, Alliance for Albanians, and Alternative had with Edi Rama in Tirana are welcome because the Albanian PM is a proven friend of North Macedonia, while the messages from the party leaders from the ethnic Albanian bloc are in direction of smooth carrying out of the EU integration process. “I consider every conversation such a person has with political stakeholders from our country in direction of building friendship and good-neighbourliness and in direction of maintaining the course of European integrations to be welcome,” Kovacevski said on Wednesday. On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE still believes Kovacevski was the initiator of the meeting. According to Alliance for Albanians leader Arben Taravari, the constitutional changes issue was among the topics.
