Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski had a telephone conversation with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. EC President von der Leyen thanked Prime Minister Kovacevski for the government’s rapid response, stressing that they are fully in line with EU foreign and security policy. At the same time, she congratulated the commitment to the Skopje-Sofia dialogue and reiterated that Brussels strongly supports and welcomes this process that will accelerate the process of European integration. “Despite the worrying situation with Ukraine, which has emerged as a priority, Prime Minister Kovacevski said that the governments of North Macedonia and Bulgaria are committed and actively continue the dialogue to find solutions and results during the French EU presidency,” the government said in a statement.
