Levica and VMRO-DPMNE have filed a no-confidence motion against Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi. The reason, it is pointed out, is Xhaferi’s use of the Albanian language in his address last week before the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs. “Suspending the Macedonian language as exclusive in international communications, he attacked it from within,” Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, MP from Hristijan Mickoski’s party, said on Monday. The motion also concerns the situation which saw two MPs from the ruling majority who had the coronavirus come to Parliament wearing hazmat suits to vote on the economic measures.
