Justice Minister Krenar Lloga addressed criticism at the Judicial Council over the events
in the past days, and said that there is legal possibility for replacement of all its members.
“I have been discussing with the government and with some of the political parties the
possibility for application of certain laws and legal resolutions, which can effectively end
the mandates of all members of the Judicial Council. More details however, will be revealed by the end of the week, after we make consultations with the opposition in the
Parliament as well,” Lloga said. He also voiced deep concerns over the findings in the
latest assessment of OSCE over the judicial system, which revealed that even judges have
very low trust in the Judicial Council.
