Foreign Affairs Minister Bujar Osmani and British Ambassador to Macedonia Rachel Galloway signed don Thursday the Agreement for Partnership, Trade and Cooperation between Macedonia and the United Kingdom. The Agreement will provide a framework for closer political dialogue between the two countries and will increase the bilateral cooperation in fields such as preservation of the environment, education, human rights etc. The agreement also strengthens the trade between the two countries, allowing British businesspeople and companies to conduct trade with Macedonian ones in the same conditions as till now, and in return this process will support the protection of the economic stability and prosperity in Macedonia. British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for European Neighbourhood and the Americas Wendy Morton and Minister for International Trade Ranil Jayawardena attended the ceremony of the signing of the Agreement via video-link.
