Macron: Prespa Agreement Good Model for Bilateral Issue Resolution

The French President Emanuel Macron said Wednesday that the Prespa Agreement is a very good example for a model for resolution of bilateral issues. “This agreement gives us all hope that the dialogue can indeed result with mutually acceptable solutions. I welcome the efforts and the courage of PMs Alexis Tsipras and Zoran Zaev, who reached an agreement over the name North Macedonia,” Macron said at a press conference at the 5th Summit of Southern EU Countries that is taking place in Cyprus. Greek PM Alexis Tsipras said that the name agreement shows that finding European solutions through dialogue and mutual understanding are possible.
