Corruption is the biggest problem for citizens, unlike previous years when the first three places were existential issues such as unemployment, poverty and low income, or political instability – this was shown by the latest research of the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation. According to the survey, about one third of the citizens, 33.7 percent were exposed to corrupt pressure, and 32.9 percent were involved in corruption. This percentage, translated into absolute numbers, assuming that these are individual cases, shows that there are potentially over 550,000 acts committed, shows the research of MCMS. From there they say that the survey was conducted face to face by Ipsos, in the period from 27 April to 20 May this year on a representative sample of 1,014 people.
