Mickoski: DUI is The Greatest Problem in the State

VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said in an interview for Sitel TV that at the
moment DUI is the greatest problem in the state. “We have a situation in which the
government is led by DUI, while SDSM act as tenants in the government. Having this in
mind, I gave my proposals and conditions to PM Dimitar Kovacevski for supporting the
constitutional changes. I also suggested three possible dates for an early parliamentary
election: September 24, October 1 or October 8. We can have a caretaker government
without DUI in it, that would make the necessary preparations for a snap election. All we
want are guarantees that the Macedonian identity, language and culture will remain
intact in this process, and we shall make contacts with partners from different countries
in order to secure this. If really no one opposes or endangers the Macedonian identity,
then it shouldn’t be a problem for the Council of Europe or the United States to deliver
concrete guarantees for the same. If they really want to see the country in the EU, they
should do that, or else VMRO-DPMNE will not support any changes to the Constitution
in any form,” Mickoski said.
