The leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski reacted to the recent video of PM Zoran Zaev, in which he referred to Macedonia during the rule of VMRO-DPMNE as “an enslaved state”. “After three years of rule of SDSM, Macedonia is not enslaved, but rather lost, and all that because of the bad policies of the government ran by PM Zaev. This is why VMRO-DPMNE will not support a Draft-law on Public Prosecution which will only protect officials close to Zaev and their crimes, while at the same time it will open room for prosecution of their political opponents. The times of protection of the Head of the Special Public Prosecution (SPO) Katica Janeva and her relatives must stop,” Mickoski wrote on Facebook. SDSM reacted to his statements, saying that now is the right time for Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE to stand on the side of justice and try to reach agreement over the Law on PPO, for the sake of Macedonia’s integration in the EU.
