Mickoski Reiterates Party’s Stand on Blocking Laws

On Saturday, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski said during a visit to Kisela Voda that his party’s Executive Committee would open a discussion Monday on the next steps the party will take regarding the blockade of Parliament. According to him, his party adheres to the stand on blocking all laws it considers to be harmful, not ones in the interest of citizens. “This is a strategy that will last. It will not be instant action,” he noted.  Mickoski said his party was working on there being elections. Regarding the case involving Talat Xhaferi, Mickoski criticised both the Parliament Speaker and PM Dimitar Kovacevski’s “non-reaction”. Mickoski stated that a lot of work was underway in Kisela Voda. “That’s even more than what was perhaps assumed as an obligation during the campaign for the local elections,” he noted, praising the work of Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski.
