At a press-conference on Sunday night, after the end of the voting process, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski stated that his party had achieved a big victory. “Today is the day when the changes for a better Macedonia are starting,” he pointed out. Mickoski thanked all opposition parties for the support. “Many doubted the success was possible, but the hope won. Macedonia must be changing, while the changes have started this night,” the opposition leader pointed out. Mickoski said it had been proven that an opposition bloc was possible. “It will bring a huge victory in the next parliamentary elections that, it is very likely, will be early ones,” the VMRO-DPMNE leader stressed.
