In an interview with Kanal 5 TV on Thursday, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski said his party would on Friday submit a declaration to Parliament that would outline the positions on the Goce Delcev issue on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the revolutionary’s birth. As he pointed out, if he were the PM, together with Bulgarian counterpart Kiril Petkov, he would lay flowers at Delcev’s statue only if Petkov agreed that Delcev was fighting for an own Macedonian independent state. Asked whether VMRO-DPMNE planned protests in the period ahead, Mickoski stated that that was so, adding that everything in the polls as public opinion should be transferred to the ground.
