On Thursday morning in Brussels, Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska held a meeting with European External Action Service (EEAS) Secretary-General Stefano Sannino. “North Macedonia has delivered results. The Report of the European Commission, which praised our results in reforms, transparency, the fight against corruption, institutional development, confirmed that as well,” she said, adding that all those results had been painstakingly achieved, with a lot of work and commitment. According to her, the accession process cannot and mustn’t be dragged on endlessly. Sannino stated that the EEAS clearly supported the European perspective of North Macedonia and the region, as well as that it expected accession talks to start as soon as possible.
