The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a reaction on Monday stating that false news about the French proposal is once again being spread in the country. “A text in Bulgarian language is promoted to the public as a final version of the protocol for resolution of the bilateral issues between official Skopje and Sofia. This text is just an old draft of ideas which have been exchanged between the two sides on past occasions. We believe that the promotion of these false news is an attempt by third parties to negatively affect the processes for resolution of the bilateral issues and opening of our road towards integration in the EU. We call upon the citizens to only take into consideration official information coming from official Skopje and Sofia,” MoFA reports.
