Name issue: Macedonian government denies Greek media reports on Divisions

Skopje and Athens have continued their silence regarding the name issue developments. The latest speculations in the Greek media are that there are serious divisions in Skopje’s government regarding the agreed framework to resolve the dispute. According to Ta Nea, which cites own sources, FM Nikola Dimitrov is the main reason for the halt. The information shows that there are divisions in Skopje’s government, with Dimitrov continuing to play personal games, the Greek newspaper writes. Macedonia’s government categorically denies that. Spokesperson Mile Bosnjakovski said on Sunday the government was united and had a single stand, adding that it continued to work on fulfilling the strategic priorities, i.e. EU and NATO membership.
