The hospitality facilities are closed for two weeks and curfew will start two hours earlier, from 20:00 until 05:00 in the next morning. In addition, fitness centres are closed and conferences and various trainings are banned, as per the new restrictive measures announced by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Health Minister Venko Filipce after the emergency government session. The main reason for the new restrictions is the increase in the number of infected and deceased, as well as the overload of the health system, which, according to the authorities, is the biggest since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic. Exceptions are the restaurants within the hotels, motels, hostels and boarding houses for those persons who are accommodated as guests, as well as the hospitality facilities at the International Airport Skopje and the Airport “St. Apostle Paul” in Ohrid.
