Bulgarian Deputy PM and Economy Minister Korneliya Ninova reacted the video-message of Prime Minister of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovacevski in which he addresses criticism at official Sofia over their support for the opening of the Vancho Mihailov culture centre in Bitola. “The statements of that kind complicate unnecessarily the process of negotiations between our countries, and both sides should refrain from such statements. Our positions are clear: North Macedonia must fully implement the Good-neighbourliness Agreement from 2017 if they want Bulgaria’s approval for start of the accession talks with the EU,” Ninova said. In meantime, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski also reacted to the opening of the Vancho Mihailov culture centre in Bitola, estimating it as a provocation which can seriously affect the bilateral relations between Skopje and Sofia.
