Officials’ Salaries: President to Get Biggest Increase, Speaker with Highest Salary

Despite the officials’ congratulatory messages on the occasion of Labour Day, nobody has mentioned the increase they will get. The biggest increase this month will be received by President Stevo Pendarovski, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, and PM Dimitar Kovacevski. According to the new calculations, Xhaferi will be the politician with the highest salary, 166,000 denars, 1,500 denars more than Pendarovski, due to years of service. The salary of PM Kovacevski will be 156,000 denars, that is, more than 2,500 euros.
