North Macedonia will no longer have an alibi for the weakness in the system and institutions as of 1 January when it comes to the country’s EU path, according to Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani. Regarding the progress report that will released next year, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani expects it to represent facing the reality. Osmani’s assessment is that so far, a positive tone has dominated the reports from Brussels because of the country’s positive results in its foreign police. The Minister considers 2022 to be a successful year marked by three breakthroughs, that is, Brussels, Sofia, and Washington. Osmani insists that the negotiations with the EU have started through the screening even though the constitutional changes are a condition for the opening of chapters.
