The autopsy of the bodies of those that passed away in the bus accident is expected to be completed by the end of the day, and the identification by the end of the week, after which the state will organize the transfer of the remains to Skopje, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani told correspondent in Sofia. “I just heard from the professors who came to Sofia. I am informed that they are already part of the process, they are already in the hall where the autopsies are performed and it is expected that maybe during the day that phase of the process will end, but still, the identification of the bodies through DNA can take several days, even by the end of the week, which means that only then will the state be able to transfer the bodies to Skopje in an organized manner. With this I want to send a message to the families who are here in Sofia that this process will be organized by the state at the moment after the identification is completed, and therefore we ask for understanding for them to return to Skopje, and we will continue with the organization from all aspects for a dignified transport of the remains,” said Osmani.
