Once his term ends on Sunday, outgoing President Gjorge Ivanov will retire. He’s decided against returning to UKIM as professor. According to the law, Ivanov is entitled to an office with three employees and pension of around 100,000 denars until the end of his life. Also, he has a right to personal security, use of official vehicle and driver. Ivanov has already requested the Government’s General and Common Affairs Service to be allowed funds to rent the cabinet and received a positive answer. The budget for the office is 8% of the presidential cabinet’s, which is in accordance with the law.
