President Stevo Pendarovski received the President and Secretary General of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Margareta Cederfelt and Roberto Montella. The meeting discussed the upcoming chairmanship of the Republic of North Macedonia with the OSCE in 2023, the current situation in the organization in terms of security developments in Europe, as well as the cooperation so far and the possibilities for its deepening. The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the preparations being carried out for taking over the OSCE chairmanship next year, as well as on the priorities of the Macedonian chairmanship in 2023. In that direction, President Pendarovski indicated that the country, given the changed security circumstances, will focus on restoring stability by restoring dialogue and trust, adding that energy security, environmental issues, respect for human rights and good governance, as well as youth policies, will be part of the priority tasks.
