Bulgarian PM Kiril Petkov estimated as successful his visit to Skopje and meeting with PM Dimitar Kovacevski on Tuesday. “We decided to show an act of good will and go there, and they returned by sending the note to the United Nations about the use of the shortened name of their country, proving that official Skopje does not have territorial pretentions towards Bulgaria. We are looking forward now to the resume of the negotiations, this time through the 5 working groups, as well as the work of the Mixed Committee on historical Affairs, but most important, we are to establish a direct airline between Sofia and Skopje in 60 days,” Petkov said upon his return from Skopje.
